Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ATP2A1, also known as SERCA1 (Sarcoplasmic Reticulum Ca2+-ATPase 1), plays a crucial role in calcium homeostasis by pumping calcium ions into the sarcoplasmic reticulum in skeletal muscle cells. Its proper functioning is essential for muscle contraction and relaxation, and any dysfunction can lead to various muscle-related diseases, including myopathies and certain forms of muscular dystrophy. Researchers are increasingly focusing on the recombinant expression of ATP2A1 to better understand its biochemical properties and physiological roles. By producing ATP2A1 as a recombinant protein, scientists can conduct detailed studies on its structure, enzymatic activity, and interaction with other cellular components. Moreover, this research can aid in the development of therapeutic strategies aimed at restoring effective calcium handling in affected muscle tissues. The study of ATP2A1 through recombinant techniques also holds potential for insights into the mechanisms of calcium signaling pathways in other tissues besides skeletal muscle, making it a significant target for both basic and applied biomedical research.
