Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SLCO4A1, part of the solute carrier organic anion transporter (SLCO) family, is involved in the transport of various endogenous and exogenous substances, including steroid hormones and certain drugs. Research into SLCO4A1 has gained attention due to its potential role in pharmacokinetics and drug responses, particularly in relation to cancer and metabolic diseases. The importance of this transporter lies in its ability to influence the bioavailability of therapeutic agents and the regulation of physiological processes, such as lipid metabolism and hormone signaling. Variations in SLCO4A1 expression may contribute to interindividual differences in drug metabolism, leading to varying therapeutic outcomes. Additionally, emerging evidence suggests that SLCO4A1 may be implicated in the pathophysiology of certain diseases, making it a potential biomarker for disease prediction and a target for drug development. The generation of recombinant SLCO4A1 protein allows for detailed studies of its functional characteristics, substrate specificity, and interaction with various ligands, providing insights that could facilitate the design of more effective therapeutic strategies. Understanding the structure and function of SLCO4A1 may ultimately aid in improving drug delivery systems and personalized medicine approaches, enhancing the efficacy and safety of treatments for patients. As research in this area continues to evolve, the exploration of SLCO4A1 presents significant opportunities for advancements in both basic science and clinical applications.
