Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PDX1 (Pancreatic and Duodenal Homeobox 1) is a transcription factor critically involved in pancreatic development and function, as well as in the regulation of insulin gene expression. Its importance in diabetes research has garnered significant attention, as PDX1 deficiency is linked to impaired insulin secretion and type 2 diabetes. The recombinant PDX1 protein has become a valuable tool for studying its biological functions and exploring therapeutic strategies for diabetes treatment. By producing and purifying this protein using recombinant DNA technology, researchers can investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying PDX1's role in pancreatic beta-cell differentiation, proliferation, and metabolic regulation. Importantly, PDX1 has potential applications in regenerative medicine, particularly in the generation of insulin-producing cells from stem cells, offering hope for new treatments for diabetes. Furthermore, understanding the intricate signaling pathways involved with PDX1 can aid in the development of drugs that enhance its activity or mimic its effects, presenting a promising avenue for innovative diabetes therapies. Overall, the study of recombinant PDX1 protein is crucial for advancing our knowledge of diabetes' pathophysiology and improving therapeutic approaches.
