Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PDLIM2 (PDZ and LIM domain 2) is a member of the PDZ-LIM protein family, which plays critical roles in various biological processes, including cell signaling, cytoskeletal organization, and transcriptional regulation. Recent studies have highlighted PDLIM2's involvement in cancer biology, where it functions as a tumor suppressor in certain contexts and may also promote tumor progression in others. This dual role is attributed to PDLIM2's interaction with various signaling pathways, including those related to growth factor receptors and oncogenes, making it a potential biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. Furthermore, PDLIM2 has been implicated in immune responses and cardiac development. Given its significance in both normal physiology and pathological conditions, the recombinant expression of PDLIM2 protein has gained attention for functional studies and therapeutic developments. Researchers focus on characterizing its structure and understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying its activities. Utilizing recombinantly produced PDLIM2 enables detailed investigation of its interactions and functions in vitro, thus paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies that exploit its regulatory roles in tumors and other diseases.
