Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ATP1a4, a member of the plasma membrane Na+/K+ ATPase family, plays a crucial role in maintaining cellular ion homeostasis by regulating sodium and potassium ion concentrations across the cell membrane. This protein is particularly significant in specific tissues, including the brain and heart, where it influences neuronal excitability and cardiac contractility. Dysregulation of ATP1a4 has been implicated in various pathophysiological conditions, including neurological disorders and cardiac diseases. Recent studies have focused on understanding the structural and functional properties of ATP1a4, particularly through the use of recombinant protein technology. By expressing and purifying ATP1a4 in heterologous systems, researchers aim to investigate its mechanism of action, binding affinities for ions, and interactions with other cellular components. This knowledge is essential for elucidating the role of ATP1a4 in health and disease, paving the way for potential therapeutic interventions targeting ion transport mechanisms in various disorders. Further research into ATP1a4 not only enhances our understanding of ion transport physiology but also provides insights into the development of drugs that could modulate ATP1a4 activity for therapeutic benefits.
