Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PCDHB11, a member of the protocadherin beta (PCDH) gene family, encodes a protein involved in cell adhesion processes crucial for the development and function of the nervous system. Protocadherins are considered key players in neuronal connections and synaptic specificity due to their ability to mediate homophilic interactions, which may influence neuronal identity and functionality. The study of PCDHB11 is particularly relevant given its potential links to neurodevelopmental disorders and its involvement in various cellular processes. Dysregulation of protocadherin expression can lead to neuronal pathologies, thus understanding the structure and function of PCDHB11 could provide insights into mechanisms underlying synaptic plasticity and connectivity in the brain. Recent advances in recombinant protein expression techniques have facilitated the production of PCDHB11 for detailed biochemical and biophysical studies. These studies aim to elucidate the molecular mechanisms of PCDHB11's adhesive properties, its interaction with other cellular components, and its role in disease contexts. Moreover, investigating the post-translational modifications and signaling pathways associated with PCDHB11 may unveil novel therapeutic targets for neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative diseases. Overall, the research on PCDHB11 is significant not only for understanding basic neurobiology but also for potential clinical applications in treating disorders linked to its dysregulation.
