Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of PCDHA7, a member of the protocadherin alpha (PCDH) gene family, has gained significant interest due to its potential roles in neural development and cell-cell interactions. Protocadherins are crucial for establishing synaptic connections and maintaining neural network integrity, making them vital for proper brain function. PCDHA7, specifically, has been implicated in various neurobiological processes, including neuronal differentiation and synaptic plasticity. Research has shown that dysregulation of protocadherin genes can lead to neurodevelopmental disorders and is associated with certain psychiatric conditions. The recombinant protein of PCDHA7 serves as a valuable tool for studying its molecular mechanisms and functional implications in cellular contexts. By expressing and purifying PCDHA7 recombinant protein, researchers aim to investigate its structural properties, binding interactions, and role in signaling pathways relevant to neural cell biology. Understanding PCDHA7's function may provide insights into the etiology of neurological diseases and potential therapeutic targets for intervention. Additionally, characterizing PCDHA7 at the protein level adds to the broader knowledge of protocadherin family members and their contributions to cell adhesion and communication in the nervous system. Overall, the research on PCDHA7 recombinant protein is pivotal for unraveling the complexities of neural development and the potential consequences of its dysfunction.
