稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PCDH11Y, a member of the protocadherin family, has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its potential implications in neurobiology and disease. Discovered to be predominantly expressed in the human central nervous system, particularly in regions related to cognitive functions and neurodevelopment, PCDH11Y plays a crucial role in cell-cell adhesion and signaling processes. Its expression is sexually dimorphic and may be linked to various neurological disorders, including autism spectrum disorders and schizophrenia. The interest in PCDH11Y has been further piqued by studies suggesting it may contribute to the development of male-specific brain circuitry, which can influence behavior and cognitive functions. Research into recombinant PCDH11Y proteins aims to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying its function and interactions with other cellular components. By producing and characterizing these recombinant proteins, scientists can investigate how PCDH11Y influences neural connectivity and its role in pathological conditions. This research not only enhances our understanding of the basic biology of PCDH11Y but may also pave the way for targeted therapeutic strategies aimed at addressing neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric disorders linked to dysregulation of protocadherin functions. Overall, the study of recombinant PCDH11Y proteins is a promising area of research that bridges molecular biology and neuroscience, offering insights into the complex interplay of genes, environment, and behavior in health and disease.
