稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The PCDH family, particularly PCDHb7 (Protocadherin beta 7), belongs to a large group of calcium-dependent cell adhesion molecules that play crucial roles in the establishment and maintenance of intercellular connections, particularly in the nervous system. Research on PCDHb7 has gained significant interest due to its potential involvement in neuronal development, synaptic plasticity, and disease pathogenesis, including neurodevelopmental disorders and cancer. PCDHb7 has been shown to influence cell signaling pathways and affect cortical neuron survival and differentiation, which are critical for proper brain functioning. Additionally, aberrant expression of PCDHb7 has been linked to various neurological disorders, making it a target for therapeutic interventions. Understanding the molecular mechanisms by which PCDHb7 operates requires the development of recombinant protein forms to facilitate biochemical studies. These recombinant proteins aid in elucidating the structure-function relationships of PCDHb7, examining its binding affinities with other cadherins and intracellular partners, and investigating its role in cell adhesion and signaling in vitro. Studies using recombinant PCDHb7 can provide insights into its unique properties compared to other protocadherins and help in evaluating its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in neurology. Overall, the study of PCDHb7 and its recombinant protein forms holds promise for advancing our understanding of cell adhesion mechanisms and their implications in health and disease.
