Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PCBP4 (Poly(rC) Binding Protein 4) is a member of the poly(C)-binding protein family, which plays crucial roles in RNA metabolism, including RNA stability, translation, and processing. Research has shown that PCBP4 is involved in various biological processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. Its unique ability to bind to specific RNA sequences suggests that it may serve as a regulatory molecule in different cellular contexts. Furthermore, PCBP4 has been linked to several diseases, including cancer, where it may contribute to tumor progression and response to therapy. Given its functional significance, the recombinant expression of PCBP4 protein is essential for understanding its mechanistic roles in RNA regulation and potential therapeutic applications. Studies using recombinant PCBP4 can pave the way for exploring its interactions with target RNAs and protein partners, ultimately contributing to the development of strategies aimed at manipulating its functions in disease settings. This research is not only fundamental for basic biology but also holds promise for therapeutic advancements, especially in cancer and other illnesses related to dysregulated RNA metabolism.
