Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ARL13B is a member of the ADP-ribosylation factor (ARF) family of small GTPases, primarily known for its role in cilia and flagella function. It is essential in regulating various cellular processes such as cell signaling, trafficking, and cytoskeletal dynamics. Due to its critical involvement in ciliary formation and maintenance, ARL13B has garnered significant attention in research related to ciliopathies, a group of genetic disorders arising from defects in cilia function. Mutations in the ARL13B gene are associated with conditions like Joubert syndrome, which is characterized by neurological and developmental issues. The study of recombinant ARL13B protein provides valuable insights into its biochemical properties, interactions with other cellular proteins, and its regulatory mechanisms in ciliary signaling pathways. Understanding the structure-function relationship of ARL13B can help elucidate the molecular basis of diseases linked to ciliary dysfunction and may pave the way for therapeutic interventions targeting these pathways. Moreover, the recombinant protein can be utilized to explore its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in various cilia-related disorders, underscoring its significance in both basic and translational research.
