Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ARHGAP17 (Rho GTPase-activating protein 17) plays a crucial role in regulating the Rho family of GTPases, which are pivotal in various cellular processes including cytoskeletal dynamics, cell proliferation, and migration. The dysregulation of Rho GTPases has been implicated in various diseases, particularly cancer, where altered cell signaling can lead to uncontrolled growth and metastasis. As a member of the RhoGAP family, ARHGAP17 influences RhoA and Rac1 pathways, thereby impacting actin filament organization and cellular adhesion. Research on ARHGAP17 has gained momentum due to its potential as a therapeutic target and biomarker in cancer progression. Understanding the structure and function of ARHGAP17 at the molecular level is essential for deciphering its role in cellular homeostasis and pathology. Experimental studies involving the expression and characterization of recombinant ARHGAP17 protein facilitate the exploration of its interactions, regulatory mechanisms, and effects on cell behavior. By elucidating these aspects, scientists aim to identify novel strategies for intervening in cancer and other Rho GTPase-related disorders, highlighting ARHGAP17's significance in biomedical research.
