Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TSG101 (Tumor Susceptibility Gene 101) is a vital protein involved in various cellular processes, particularly in the regulation of endosomal sorting and the biogenesis of multivesicular bodies. It plays a crucial role in the cellular response to oncogenic transformation and the pathogenesis of several cancers. Its expression is frequently altered in malignant tissues, implicating it in tumor progression and metastasis. Research has shown that TSG101 interacts with several cellular proteins, including components of the ESCRT (endosomal sorting complexes required for transport) machinery, which is essential for receptor downregulation and the sorting of ubiquitinated proteins. Furthermore, TSG101 has been identified as a potential target for cancer therapeutics, given its involvement in the cellular processes that contribute to tumorigenesis. Investigating the mechanisms of TSG101 function and its regulatory pathways is crucial for understanding its role in cancer biology and may provide insights into novel therapeutic strategies. Studies exploring TSG101's structure-function relationships, its interactions with viral proteins, and its implications in cellular signaling pathways continue to shed light on its significance in both normal physiology and disease states. Thus, the ongoing research on TSG101 recombinant proteins aims not only to elucidate its biological functions but also to facilitate the development of new treatment modalities in oncology and viral infections.
