Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of TSFM (TSF mitochondrial translation factor) recombinant protein is rooted in the broader understanding of mitochondrial function and protein synthesis within cells. Mitochondria, often referred to as the powerhouses of the cell, are essential for energy production through oxidative phosphorylation. However, their function relies heavily on the accurate translation of mitochondrial-encoded proteins, which is where TSFM plays a vital role. It is involved in the mitochondrial translation process, aiding in the proper folding and assembly of mitochondrial ribosomes. Dysregulation or mutations in TSFM can lead to mitochondrial dysfunction, which has been linked to various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and metabolic syndromes. Research into TSFM recombinant protein not only provides insights into the fundamental mechanisms of mitochondrial translation but also paves the way for therapeutic approaches targeting mitochondrial pathologies. By producing and studying recombinant TSFM protein, researchers can investigate its structure, function, and interactions with other mitochondrial components, contributing to a deeper understanding of mitochondrial biology and its implications for human health.
