Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PCDHGA11, a member of the protocadherin gene family, encodes a protein involved in cell-cell adhesion, which plays a critical role in the development and function of the nervous system. Recent studies have highlighted the significance of protocadherins in establishing synaptic connections and maintaining neuronal stability, suggesting that PCDHGA11 may have implications in neurodevelopmental disorders and neurodegenerative diseases. Its unique structure, characterized by multiple extracellular cadherin-like domains, allows for specific interactions with other cells and extracellular matrix components, which are vital for cellular signaling and tissue organization. Researchers are increasingly interested in exploring the functional roles of PCDHGA11 in various biological contexts, including its regulation during neuronal differentiation and potential interactions with signaling pathways that govern cell fate decisions. Investigating the properties of recombinant PCDHGA11 protein can facilitate a deeper understanding of its mechanistic functions and identify potential therapeutic targets for conditions associated with aberrant cell adhesion and synaptic dysfunction. The generation of recombinant PCDHGA11 not only provides a tool for examining its biological roles but also for potential applications in regenerative medicine and therapeutic strategies to tackle neurological disorders.
