  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

PABPC3, or Poly(A)-binding protein cytoplasmic 3, is a key regulator of mRNA stability, translation, and degradation in eukaryotic cells. It is known to bind to poly(A) tails of mRNA and is involved in various cellular processes, including the regulation of gene expression, cellular response to stress, and involvement in pathways related to development and differentiation. The study of recombinant PABPC3 protein has gained traction due to its critical role in these fundamental processes and its potential implications in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Given its importance in mRNA metabolism, researchers have focused on elucidating its structure-function relationships, post-translational modifications, and interactions with other cellular proteins. The production of recombinant PABPC3 enables detailed biochemical assays and structural studies, allowing scientists to explore its mechanisms of action and regulatory roles within the cell. Additionally, understanding PABPC3 can contribute to the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating its function in disease contexts, highlighting its significance as a potential target for biomedical research.
