Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of PLT (Plant Lipid Transfer) proteins has garnered significant attention in recent years due to their pivotal roles in plant physiological processes, including lipid metabolism, membrane formation, and response to environmental stress. These proteins are known for their ability to facilitate the transfer of lipids between membranes, which is crucial for maintaining cellular homeostasis and membrane integrity. The PLT family exhibits diverse functions, ranging from involvement in seed development and germination to mediating plant defense mechanisms against pathogens. Research has shown that PLT proteins can influence key pathways, such as those regulating growth and stress response, making them potential targets for biotechnological applications in crop improvement. Moreover, their ability to enhance tolerance to abiotic stresses, like drought and salinity, underscores their importance in sustainable agriculture, especially in the context of climate change. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying PLT functionality can lead to innovative strategies for enhancing plant resilience and productivity. Consequently, elucidating the roles of PLT proteins not only deepens our insight into plant biology but also presents opportunities for the development of crops that can better withstand the challenges posed by a rapidly changing environment.
