Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
OXER1, or oxytocin receptor 1, is a G protein-coupled receptor that plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including social behaviors, reproductive functions, and stress responses. Its significance has garnered increasing attention in recent years, particularly in the context of neurobiology and psychiatric disorders. Research has shown that OXER1 mediates the effects of oxytocin, a hormone integral to social bonding and emotional regulation, suggesting its potential influence on conditions like autism, anxiety, and depression. The production of recombinant OXER1 protein facilitates the study of its structure-function relationships, signaling pathways, and interactions with other proteins, thereby providing insights into its role in health and disease. By employing techniques such as gene cloning, expression in suitable systems, and purification protocols, researchers aim to characterize OXER1 at a molecular level, which may lead to the identification of novel therapeutic targets and the development of interventions for related disorders. Consequently, understanding OXER1's function and mechanics is pivotal to advancing our knowledge of its contributions to neuropsychological health and its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in various disorders.
