稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
OR51D1, a member of the olfactory receptor family, has garnered significant interest in recent years due to its potential roles beyond traditional olfactory functions. Originally identified in the nasal epithelium, studies have suggested that OR51D1 may be involved in various physiological processes, including tumor biology and neurobiology. Its expression has been linked to certain types of cancers, leading researchers to investigate its possible role as a biomarker or therapeutic target. The unusual localization of OR51D1 in non-olfactory tissues, such as the brain and certain tumors, hints at its involvement in cell signaling pathways and interactions with different ligands. Furthermore, the unique characteristics of OR51D1, including its selective ligand binding and activation mechanisms, provide a promising framework for exploring its functions in both health and disease. As a result, the recombinant expression and functional characterization of OR51D1 have become crucial for understanding its biological significance and potential applications in medical research. Researchers are employing advanced techniques such as molecular cloning and in vitro assays to elucidate OR51D1's structure-function relationships and its interactions with endogenous and synthetic compounds. This research is pivotal not only for expanding our comprehension of the olfactory receptor family but also for unveiling new avenues in cancer therapy and other therapeutic interventions.
