Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LARS2, or mitochondrial leucyl-tRNA synthetase 2, is an essential enzyme involved in mitochondrial protein synthesis. It plays a crucial role in the accurate translation of mitochondrial mRNA by charging the appropriate tRNA with the amino acid leucine. Mutations in the LARS2 gene have been linked to various mitochondrial disorders, which can lead to a range of clinical manifestations, including neurological dysfunction, muscle weakness, and developmental delays. Research on LARS2 recombinant proteins focuses on understanding the enzyme's structure-function relationships and its interactions with other mitochondrial components. Such studies are significant for elucidating the biochemical pathways involved in mitochondrial protein synthesis and their implications in mitochondrial diseases. By generating and analyzing LARS2 recombinant proteins, scientists aim to identify the effects of specific mutations, provide insights into disease mechanisms, and explore potential therapeutic strategies. Understanding LARS2's functionality is critical not only for advancing mitochondrial biology but also for developing interventions for patients affected by related disorders. Ultimately, this research contributes to the broader field of mitochondrial genetics and therapies aimed at ameliorating the impact of mitochondrial diseases.
