Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
AKAP3, or A-kinase anchoring protein 3, is a member of the AKAP family that plays a crucial role in the spatial and temporal regulation of protein kinase A (PKA) signaling pathways. This protein is predominantly expressed in the testes, where it is implicated in processes such as sperm motility and fertility. Dysregulation of AKAP3 has been associated with various reproductive disorders, making it a potential target for therapeutic intervention. The interest in recombinant AKAP3 protein stems from its structural and functional complexity, which is essential for understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying its anchoring capabilities and interactions with PKA and other signaling molecules. Research on AKAP3 recombinant proteins aims to elucidate the details of its binding properties, functional sites, and its role in cellular signaling networks. Given its importance in reproductive biology, producing and characterizing AKAP3 in a recombinant form can advance our understanding of its physiological functions and potentially lead to new strategies for addressing male infertility and related conditions. This line of research not only contributes to basic science but also has significant implications in clinical settings, highlighting the importance of AKAP3 in both health and disease.
