Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
STK11, also known as LKB1, is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a crucial role in cellular metabolism, energy homeostasis, and tumor suppression. Mutations in the STK11 gene are associated with Peutz-Jeghers syndrome, a genetic disorder characterized by the development of gastrointestinal polyps and increased cancer risk. Research on STK11 recombinant protein has gained momentum due to its significance in understanding various signaling pathways, particularly those involved in cell growth and stress response. The STK11 protein is pivotal in regulating cellular energy via the AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) pathway, linking nutrient availability to cell proliferation and survival. By exploring the structural and functional aspects of STK11 through recombinant protein studies, scientists aim to elucidate its mechanisms in cancer biology and metabolism. Advances in this research could provide insights into potential therapeutic targets for STK11-related cancers, as well as strategies for metabolic disorders. The generation of STK11 recombinant proteins allows for in-depth analysis of its kinase activity, interaction with upstream and downstream signaling partners, and the exploration of its role in both normal physiology and disease states. Understanding STK11’s function at the molecular level is essential for the development of innovative treatments and interventions in diseases linked to its dysfunction. Overall, the study of STK11 recombinant proteins represents a significant avenue for discovering the intricate biology behind this critical kinase and its implications for human health.
