Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
AFAP1L2 (Actin Filament Associated Protein 1 Like 2) is a relatively newly identified protein that plays a significant role in cellular processes, particularly in the organization of the cytoskeleton and cell signaling. The study of AFAP1L2 is gaining interest due to its potential implications in various physiological and pathological conditions, including cancer, where its expression levels have been correlated with tumor growth and metastasis. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying AFAP1L2 function may provide insights into cellular dynamics and the intricate networking of cellular components. Additionally, research has shown that AFAP1L2 may interact with actin filaments, suggesting a crucial role in maintaining cellular architecture and motility. Recent findings have indicated that the protein might be involved in the response to stress and the regulation of cell survival, further emphasizing its importance in maintaining homeostasis within cells. Investigating the recombinant expression of AFAP1L2 could pave the way for exploring its structural characteristics and functional roles in greater detail, facilitating the potential development of therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating its activity in disease contexts. Overall, the ongoing research into AFAP1L2 and its recombinant protein presents promising avenues for enhancing our understanding of its biological significance and its potential utility in clinical applications.
