  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

AFAP1L1, or actin filament-associated protein 1-like 1, has emerged as a significant subject of research due to its potential role in various cellular processes, including cytoskeletal organization and signal transduction. As a member of the AFAP family, AFAP1L1 is involved in regulating actin dynamics, which are crucial for cell motility, shape maintenance, and division. Studies have shown that alterations in the expression or function of AFAP1L1 are linked to several pathologies, including cancer progression and metastasis. Consequently, understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying AFAP1L1 function and its interaction with other proteins may provide insights into its contributions to disease states. The recombinant expression of AFAP1L1 is vital for these studies, allowing researchers to analyze its biochemical properties and functional roles in vitro and in vivo. By employing techniques such as protein purification and characterization, scientists can elucidate the complex pathways in which AFAP1L1 is involved, potentially leading to the identification of novel therapeutic targets. Given the interplay between actin dynamics and multiple cellular processes, continued exploration of AFAP1L1 through recombinant protein studies is essential to uncover its full biological relevance.
