  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

ADARB1, or Adenosine Deaminase Acting on RNA 1, is an enzyme that plays a crucial role in the editing of adenosine to inosine within RNA molecules. This process, known as A-to-I editing, is essential for various cellular functions, including the regulation of gene expression, RNA stability, and the response to environmental stimuli. Dysregulation of ADARB1 has been implicated in several neurological disorders, cancers, and autoimmune diseases, making it a significant target for research. Recent studies have highlighted its involvement in the modulation of neurotransmitter receptors and its potential impact on synaptic plasticity and neuronal function. Recombinant ADARB1 protein has become a valuable tool for investigating its enzymatic activity and functional roles under physiological and pathological conditions. Understanding the molecular mechanisms of ADARB1 can provide deeper insights into RNA biology and its implications for human health, fostering the development of therapeutic strategies for diseases associated with RNA editing defects. As researchers continue to explore the intricacies of ADARB1, the recombinant protein serves as a vital component in elucidating the functional consequences of RNA editing in diverse biological contexts.
