Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ADAM7 (A Disintegrin and Metalloproteinase 7) is a member of the ADAM protein family, which plays crucial roles in cell adhesion, migration, and proteolytic processing of various substrates. The importance of ADAM7 in physiological processes and its potential implications in pathologies such as cancer and inflammation have driven substantial interest in understanding its structure and function. Research has indicated that ADAM7 is involved in the shedding of membrane proteins, including certain cytokines and receptors, impacting signaling pathways critical for cellular communication. The role of ADAM7 in promoting tumor progression and metastasis has been highlighted, suggesting its potential as a therapeutic target. Recombinant protein studies have become essential for elucidating the enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and interactions of ADAM7 within cellular systems. By producing ADAM7 as a recombinant protein, researchers can conduct in vitro assays to investigate its biological functions and regulatory mechanisms. This approach not only aids in deciphering the molecular underpinnings of ADAM7's actions but also paves the way for exploring its therapeutic applications, potentially leading to novel strategies for treating diseases where ADAM7 is implicated. As such, the research on recombinant ADAM7 is pivotal in advancing our understanding of both normal biological processes and disease pathogenesis.
