Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CRTC2 (CREB Regulated Transcription Coactivator 2) is a critical protein that plays a significant role in various physiological processes, including metabolism, neuronal function, and cell signaling. It is a member of the CRTC family, which acts as a coactivator for the transcription factor CREB (cAMP response element-binding protein), thereby influencing the expression of genes involved in glucose homeostasis and energy balance. Dysfunction or dysregulation of CRTC2 has been implicated in metabolic disorders, such as obesity and type 2 diabetes, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions. Recent studies have focused on understanding the structural and functional aspects of CRTC2, including its interactions with CREB and other signaling pathways. Research has revealed that post-translational modifications, such as phosphorylation and acetylation, can significantly impact CRTC2’s activity and stability. Moreover, investigations into CRTC2's role in the central nervous system have suggested its involvement in synaptic plasticity and learning processes. As such, elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying CRTC2 function is essential for developing strategies aimed at modulating its activity in disease contexts. This ongoing research not only aims to uncover the fundamental biological roles of CRTC2 but also seeks to pave the way for innovative therapeutic approaches targeting metabolic and neurological disorders linked to its dysregulation.
