Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CDK11B (Cyclin-dependent kinase 11B) is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a crucial role in regulating cell cycle progression, RNA processing, and transcription. As a member of the cyclin-dependent kinase family, CDK11B is involved in various cellular processes, including the coordination of the G2/M transition and the regulation of the transcriptional machinery via phosphorylation of RNA polymerase II. The study of CDK11B has gained significant interest due to its implications in cancer biology, as aberrant expression or activity of cyclin-dependent kinases can contribute to uncontrolled cell proliferation. Furthermore, CDK11B is known to impact alternative splicing and mRNA stability, linking it to gene expression regulation beyond mere cell cycle control. Recent advancements in proteomics and molecular biology techniques have facilitated the exploration of CDK11B's structure and function, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. The generation of recombinant CDK11B proteins allows for detailed functional assays and interactions studies, contributing to a better understanding of its role in cellular processes and disease states. This research not only deepens our comprehension of CDK11B's biochemistry but also paves the way for the development of novel cancer therapies aimed at modulating its activity.
