Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
OLIG3 (Oligodendrocyte Transcription Factor 3) is a member of the basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcription factor family, primarily known for its critical role in oligodendrocyte development and differentiation in the central nervous system. Recent studies have highlighted OLIG3's involvement in various neurobiological processes, including myelination, neural repair, and potential implications in neurodegenerative diseases such as multiple sclerosis and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Given its essential functions in regulating gene expression during glial cell lineage specification, the recombinant production of OLIG3 protein has become a focal point for research aimed at dissecting its mechanistic pathways and functional impacts on oligodendrocyte biology. Researchers are particularly interested in characterizing OLIG3's protein interactions, post-translational modifications, and its role in signaling pathways that govern neuroinflammatory responses. The recombinant OLIG3 protein can serve as a valuable tool for in vitro studies, enabling scientists to explore its effects on cell proliferation, survival, and myelination capacity. Furthermore, understanding OLIG3's function could lead to innovative therapeutic strategies aimed at promoting remyelination and repairing neural injuries, thus addressing the pressing need for effective treatments in demyelinating conditions. Overall, the study of OLIG3 recombinant protein presents a promising avenue for uncovering new insights into oligodendrocyte biology and its implications for neurological health.
