Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IL15Ra, or Interleukin-15 receptor alpha, is a critical component of the IL-15 signaling pathway, which plays a fundamental role in immune regulation, particularly in the proliferation and activation of natural killer (NK) cells and CD8+ T cells. Research into IL15Ra has gained significant attention due to its potential therapeutic implications in cancer immunotherapy, where enhancing immune responses against tumors is crucial. Recombinant IL15Ra proteins have been developed to investigate their ability to enhance IL-15 activity, promoting improved immune cell function and survival. This is particularly relevant in the context of developing novel treatments for various malignancies, as well as in understanding autoimmune disorders, where dysregulation of IL-15 signaling can contribute to pathogenesis. Furthermore, IL15Ra has shown promise as a potential target for enhancing vaccine responses. By creating recombinant forms of IL15Ra, researchers aim to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying its function and to evaluate its efficacy in clinical applications, including as a solitary agent or in combination with other immunotherapeutic strategies. These studies are paving the way for innovative treatments that harness the power of the immune system to combat disease more effectively.
