稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ABHD12 (Abhydrolase Domain Containing 12) is a member of the serine hydrolase family, playing a crucial role in lipid metabolism and signaling pathways. Mutations in the ABHD12 gene are associated with the rare neurodegenerative disorder known as Chanarin-Dorfman syndrome, which is characterized by lipid accumulation in various tissues and neurological deficits. The study of recombinant ABHD12 protein has gained significance as it allows researchers to delve into its enzymatic activities, substrate specificity, and the molecular mechanisms underlying its function in cellular processes. Understanding the enzymatic properties of ABHD12 and how it interacts with various lipid substrates can provide insights into its role in maintaining lipid homeostasis and the pathogenesis of associated disorders. Furthermore, recombinant ABHD12 can be employed in drug discovery and development, especially in targeting metabolic pathways altered in diseases. Overall, research on recombinant ABHD12 not only enhances our understanding of its biological significance but also contributes to the potential development of therapeutic strategies for conditions linked to its dysfunction.
