Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CAV3 (Caveolin-3) is a muscle-specific protein that plays a crucial role in the formation of caveolae, small invaginations in the plasma membrane of cells, particularly in cardiac and skeletal muscle tissues. Its involvement in various cellular processes, including signal transduction, lipid metabolism, and membrane trafficking, has made CAV3 a significant focus of research in cell biology and pathology. Mutations in the CAV3 gene are associated with several muscular diseases, including Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy and Rippling Muscle Disease, highlighting its importance in muscle integrity and function. Moreover, CAV3 has been implicated in the pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases, as it interacts with signaling molecules that regulate vascular smooth muscle contraction and endothelial function. The production of recombinant CAV3 protein allows researchers to investigate its structure-function relationships, post-translational modifications, and interactions with other proteins in detail. Understanding these aspects is crucial for elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying the diseases linked to CAV3 dysfunction. Additionally, recombinant CAV3 can serve as a potential therapeutic target or biomarker for muscle-related disorders. Recent advancements in protein expression systems have facilitated the generation of high-purity CAV3 for use in biophysical and biochemical studies, which are essential for developing novel therapeutic strategies aimed at mitigating CAV3-related pathologies. Overall, research on recombinant CAV3 protein is paving the way for deeper insights into its biological significance and potential applications in regenerative medicine and targeted therapies.
