Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NLGN2 (Neuroligin 2) is a crucial synaptic adhesion protein that plays a significant role in the formation and maintenance of excitatory synapses in the central nervous system. It belongs to a family of neuroligins, which are implicated in synaptic transmission and neural network development. Abnormalities in NLGN2 expression and function have been linked to various neuropsychiatric disorders, including autism spectrum disorders and schizophrenia. The study of NLGN2 recombinant proteins is essential for understanding its molecular mechanisms and interactions with other synaptic proteins, such as neurexins. By expressing and purifying NLGN2 proteins, researchers can explore their structural properties, binding affinities, and functional roles in synaptic modulation. Furthermore, such studies provide insights into the pathophysiology of synaptic dysfunctions associated with mental health conditions, paving the way for potential therapeutic interventions. Overall, research on NLGN2 recombinant proteins contributes to our understanding of synaptic biology and has implications for developing strategies to target synaptic abnormalities in various neurological and psychiatric diseases.
