Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SEPW1 (Selenoprotein W1) is a selenoprotein characterized by the incorporation of selenium into its structure, which is crucial for its biological function and potential therapeutic applications. Research into SEPW1 has gained significant attention due to its role in various cellular processes, including redox regulation, antioxidant defense, and modulation of apoptosis. This protein is hypothesized to function protectively against oxidative stress, which is implicated in a range of diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer. The understanding of SEPW1's mechanism of action could lead to innovative strategies for disease prevention and treatment. Moreover, variations in SEPW1 expression levels have been associated with specific health conditions, suggesting a potential biomarker for disease susceptibility. Recent advances in molecular biology techniques have facilitated the exploration of SEPW1 and its interactions with other cellular components, further unveiling its significance in health and disease. Consequently, ongoing research aims to elucidate the precise roles and therapeutic potential of SEPW1, particularly in the context of selenium's multifaceted effects on human health.
