Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NEK9, a member of the NIMA (Never in Mitosis gene A)-related kinase family, plays a crucial role in regulating various cell cycle processes, particularly mitosis and cytokinesis. Its significance has garnered attention in cancer research, where dysregulation of NEK9 is often associated with tumorigenesis and cancer progression. Numerous studies have indicated that NEK9 is involved in microtubule dynamics, chromosome segregation, and spindle assembly, making it essential for faithful cell division. Researchers have also identified NEK9 as a potential therapeutic target due to its overexpression in several malignancies. Furthermore, understanding the structure and function of NEK9 through recombinant protein studies can reveal its interaction with other cell cycle regulators and its precise role in cellular mechanisms. This could lead to the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at inhibiting NEK9 activity in cancer cells. Despite its importance, the full extent of NEK9’s biological functions and its molecular interactions remain to be fully elucidated, indicating a need for continued research in this area. Exploring NEK9 recombinant protein will not only enhance our understanding of its cellular roles but also aid in the identification of biomarkers for cancer diagnosis and prognosis.
