Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RPL18A, a member of the ribosomal protein family, plays a critical role in the assembly and function of the ribosome, which is essential for protein synthesis in cells. Recent studies have highlighted its importance in various cellular processes, including cell growth, proliferation, and response to stress. Research has shown that alterations in RPL18A expression and function are associated with several diseases, particularly cancers, where it may contribute to the dysregulation of protein synthesis and cellular homeostasis. Additionally, RPL18A has been implicated in the mitotic process, influencing cell cycle regulation and tumorigenesis. As a result, the study of RPL18A recombinant proteins has gained significant attention, with efforts focusing on understanding its structural characteristics and interactions with other ribosomal components. The production of recombinant RPL18A provides a valuable tool for investigating its functional roles and potential as a therapeutic target. Furthermore, insights gained from this research could lead to better understanding of ribosomal dysregulation in various diseases, and the development of novel strategies for intervention. Through advanced techniques such as X-ray crystallography and NMR spectroscopy, researchers aim to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying RPL18A's function, ultimately contributing to the broader field of ribosomal biology and its implications in health and disease.
