Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NEGR1 (Neurite Growth Regulator 1) is a protein that has garnered significant attention in neuroscience and genetic research due to its role in neuronal development and synaptic function. Studies have shown that NEGR1 is involved in neurite outgrowth, which is critical for the formation of neural networks. Furthermore, genetic variants in the NEGR1 gene have been associated with various neuropsychiatric disorders, including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, indicating its potential as a biomarker for these conditions. Research efforts have focused on the recombinant expression of NEGR1 to elucidate its structure and functional properties. Recombinant NEGR1 protein can be used in in vitro studies to investigate its interactions with other proteins, signaling pathways, and its effects on cell behavior. Understanding the molecular mechanisms of NEGR1 could provide insights into the development of therapeutic strategies for neurodevelopmental and psychiatric disorders. Additionally, recombinant NEGR1 might serve as a potential target for drug design, aimed at enhancing neuronal repair and regeneration. Overall, the study of NEGR1 and its recombinant protein form holds promise for advancing our understanding of brain development and function, as well as for the development of innovative treatments for mental health disorders.
