Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KPNa5 is a member of the Karyopherin α (importin α) family, which plays a crucial role in nucleocytoplasmic transport, specifically in the import of proteins into the nucleus. The significance of KPNa5 has gained attention due to its involvement in various cellular processes, including gene regulation and cell cycle control. Recent studies suggest that KPNa5 may influence the transport of key regulatory proteins, thus affecting cellular homeostasis and response to stress. Furthermore, KPNa5 has been implicated in several diseases, including certain cancers, where it may contribute to aberrant signaling pathways and tumor progression. Understanding its structure and function can provide insights into its role in health and disease, making it a potential target for therapeutic intervention. Additionally, the recombination and production of KPNa5 as a recombinant protein can facilitate the study of its biochemical properties, interaction partners, and functional mechanisms, paving the way for novel strategies in drug development and disease management. As research progresses, elucidating the precise mechanisms by which KPNa5 operates will enhance our understanding of its contribution to cellular dynamics and its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in various pathological conditions.
