Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CEP57, a member of the centrosomal protein family, has garnered attention in recent years due to its pivotal role in cellular processes such as cilia formation, cell cycle regulation, and mitotic spindle assembly. Understanding the function of CEP57 is critical, considering its involvement in various diseases, including cancer and ciliopathies. Research indicates that CEP57 interacts with multiple proteins at the centrosome, facilitating the assembly and stability of microtubules, which are essential for proper cell division and intracellular transport. Recent studies have also highlighted its contribution to the cellular response to DNA damage and how alterations in CEP57 expression can lead to genomic instability. Therefore, generating recombinant CEP57 protein has become a key focus for researchers aiming to elucidate its structure-function relationships and to investigate its mechanisms of action at the molecular level. By producing and characterizing the recombinant version of CEP57, scientists can explore its binding partners, assess its activity in cellular assays, and potentially identify therapeutic targets for diseases linked to its dysfunction. This research not only enhances our understanding of centrosomal dynamics but also opens avenues for developing novel strategies to combat diseases where CEP57 is implicated.
