  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

RND1 (Rho family GTPase 1) is a member of the Rho GTPase family, which plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including cytoskeletal dynamics, cell migration, and proliferation. Research into RND1 has garnered interest due to its unique regulatory functions and potential implications in cancer biology and developmental signaling pathways. Unlike other Rho GTPases that are predominantly involved in cell signaling mediated by GTP-bound active forms, RND1 is known to be constitutively active, leading to distinct cellular effects. It has been implicated in the inhibition of neuronal differentiation and the promotion of cell survival, suggesting a multifaceted role in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Moreover, aberrant RND1 expression has been linked to several pathologies, including tumorigenesis and neurodegenerative disorders. Consequently, the study of RND1 recombinant proteins is vital for elucidating its mechanistic roles and interactions at the molecular level. By producing and characterizing recombinant RND1 proteins, researchers aim to investigate its biochemical properties, binding partners, and downstream signaling pathways. This knowledge could not only enhance our understanding of RND1's functional roles in cell biology but may also reveal novel therapeutic targets for related diseases. Thus, the exploration of RND1 as a recombinant protein serves to bridge gaps in our comprehension of its contributions to both normal physiology and disease states, paving the way for future advancements in targeted therapies.
