Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
INHB, or inhibin B, is a dimeric glycoprotein belonging to the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) superfamily. It plays a crucial role in the regulation of reproductive function, particularly in the negative feedback control of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) secretion and spermatogenesis. Research on INHB focuses on its potential as a biomarker for ovarian reserve, fertility assessment, and possible therapeutic applications in reproductive medicine. Significant advancements have been made in the recombinant expression of INHB, allowing for more accessible and cost-effective production methods. This is vital not only for understanding its biological functions but also for exploring its use in clinical settings. Recombinant INHB has the potential to enhance fertility treatments by providing insight into an individual’s reproductive status and addressing conditions related to hormonal imbalances. Additionally, its role in various pathophysiological conditions, including polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and certain cancers, highlights the importance of ongoing research to elucidate the mechanisms underlying INHB's actions. As our understanding of INHB continues to grow, it may pave the way for innovative strategies in reproductive health and hormone therapy.
