Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (aMSH) is a peptide that plays a crucial role in the regulation of various physiological functions, including pigmentation, appetite control, and inflammatory responses. Research on aMSH has gained attention due to its potential therapeutic applications, particularly in the fields of obesity, skin disorders, and autoimmune diseases. The production of recombinant aMSH has become a focal point in biomedical research, as it allows for the generation of large quantities of the peptide for both experimental and clinical use. Utilizing techniques such as recombinant DNA technology and protein expression systems, researchers can produce aMSH in a cost-effective and efficient manner. The exploration of aMSH's mechanisms of action at the molecular and cellular levels has revealed insights into its interactions with melanocortin receptors, paving the way for novel drug development. Furthermore, studies investigating the role of aMSH in neuroinflammation and neuroprotection have opened new avenues for treating neurological disorders. Overall, the ongoing research into recombinant aMSH not only enhances our understanding of its biological significance but also holds promise for innovative therapeutic strategies targeting a range of health conditions.
