Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NBR1 (Neighbor of BRCA1 gene 1) is an essential protein that plays a significant role in cellular processes such as autophagy, protein quality control, and the maintenance of genomic stability. Research has indicated that NBR1 may be involved in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, due to its role in the degradation of misfolded proteins and damaged organelles. As a member of the selective autophagy receptor family, NBR1 interacts with ubiquitinated substrates, facilitating their delivery to the autophagy machinery for degradation. This function is crucial for cellular homeostasis and has led to a growing interest in understanding the mechanisms regulating NBR1's activity. The study of NBR1's structure, function, and interactions is vital not only for elucidating its role in normal cellular physiology but also for developing potential therapeutic strategies for diseases associated with autophagy dysregulation. Recent advances in molecular biology techniques, including recombinant protein expression and purification, have enabled researchers to investigate NBR1 in detail, contributing to a better understanding of its implications in health and disease.
