稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NAALAD2 (N-acetylated alpha-linked acidic dipeptidase 2) is an important membrane-bound enzyme that plays a significant role in neuropeptide metabolism and neurotransmission in the central nervous system. It is a member of the M20 family of metallopeptidases and is primarily involved in the hydrolysis of N-acetylated neuropeptides, which are crucial for numerous physiological processes, including synaptic plasticity, learning, and memory. The research into NAALAD2 has gained momentum due to its potential implications in neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, where neuropeptide dysregulation is observed. Furthermore, NAALAD2 has been identified as a promising target for novel therapeutic agents aimed at modulating neuropeptide levels in the brain. Recombinant NAALAD2 protein production allows for biochemical studies that can elucidate its enzymatic mechanisms, substrate specificity, and interaction with other molecular players in the neuropeptide signaling pathways. Understanding the structure-function relationship of NAALAD2 through recombinant protein studies can pave the way for the development of specific inhibitors or modulators, offering new avenues for therapeutic intervention in cognitive disorders linked to neuropeptide imbalances. This body of research is significant not only for advancing our understanding of NAALAD2's role in neurobiology but also for the potential establishment of innovative treatment strategies for various neurological conditions. Overall, the continued investigation into NAALAD2 and its recombinant protein variants is crucial for harnessing its therapeutic potential and elucidating its contributions to brain function and disease.
