Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Angiotensin I (AngI) is a pivotal peptide in the renin-angiotensin system (RAS), which plays a crucial role in regulating blood pressure, fluid balance, and electrolyte homeostasis. Research on AngI and its recombinant forms stems from the need to better understand cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, and related disorders. The study of AngI is particularly significant because it serves as the precursor to Angiotensin II (AngII), a potent vasoconstrictor that influences vascular tone and systemic blood pressure. The recombinant production of AngI allows for detailed characterization of its biological functions and interactions with specific receptors, as well as the exploration of its metabolism and degradation pathways. Moreover, recombinant AngI can be utilized in therapeutic applications and drug development, particularly in designing inhibitors that target the RAS to treat hypertension and heart failure. Insights gained from AngI studies can contribute to the identification of novel biomarkers and therapeutic strategies, ultimately advancing our understanding of cardiovascular health and disease management. As researchers continue to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying AngI's actions, the potential for innovative treatments based on its modulation becomes increasingly promising, highlighting the importance of ongoing studies in this area.
