Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RAP1B, a member of the Ras superfamily of small GTPases, plays a pivotal role in various cellular processes, including signal transduction, cell adhesion, and the regulation of cytoskeletal dynamics. Its aberrant expression and activation have been implicated in several pathophysiological conditions, particularly in cancer, where it may influence tumor growth and metastasis. The understanding of RAP1B's function has been significantly advanced through the study of its recombinant protein form, which allows researchers to investigate its biochemical properties and interactions in a controlled environment. By recombinantly expressing RAP1B, scientists can analyze its GTPase activity, identify downstream signaling pathways, and explore its role in cellular processes such as cell migration and proliferation. Furthermore, the production of RAP1B as a recombinant protein aids in the development of potential therapeutic strategies targeting aberrant RAP1B signaling. As the focus on small GTPases in cancer research continues to grow, the study of RAP1B as a recombinant protein provides valuable insights into its functional mechanisms and therapeutic potential, underscoring its significance as a target for cancer treatment and highlighting the importance of continuing research in this area.
