Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RAP1A, a member of the RAS superfamily of GTPases, plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and cytoskeletal organization. This protein is particularly significant in the context of cancer research, as it has been implicated in the regulation of key signaling pathways that influence tumor growth and metastasis. Overexpression or aberrant activation of RAP1A has been observed in several types of cancers, suggesting its potential as a biomarker for diagnosis or prognosis. Additionally, RAP1A is involved in the modulation of cell adhesion and migration through its interactions with integrins and other adhesion molecules, further linking it to tumorigenesis and metastasis. Due to its vital functions, the study of RAP1A recombinant proteins has gained attention, as these proteins can be used to dissect the molecular mechanisms that govern its activity and regulation. By producing and purifying RAP1A recombinants, researchers aim to investigate its interactions with downstream effectors and identify potential inhibitors that could serve as therapeutic agents. The ongoing exploration of RAP1A not only enhances our understanding of its biological significance but also opens avenues for developing targeted treatments for cancers characterized by aberrant RAP1A signaling. Through advanced techniques in molecular biology and protein engineering, the characterization of RAP1A recombinant proteins continues to reveal insights into their functional roles, ultimately contributing to the broader field of cancer biology and therapeutic innovation.
