  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TTC (Tetrameric Tetratricopeptide) proteins are a class of proteins characterized by the presence of tetratricopeptide repeats, which play crucial roles in various biological processes, including protein-protein interactions, cellular signaling, and the regulation of gene expression. The interest in TTC proteins has grown significantly due to their involvement in important cellular pathways and their potential implications in disease mechanisms, such as cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Research has shown that these proteins can modulate the stability and activity of key regulatory proteins, making them important targets for therapeutic intervention. Furthermore, the structural versatility of TTC proteins allows them to form diverse complexes, which can influence cellular functions in context-dependent manners. As a result, understanding the structure-function relationships of TTC proteins is vital for elucidating their roles in health and disease. Recent advances in structural biology and bioinformatics have facilitated the identification and characterization of new TTC family members, promoting a deeper exploration of their biological functions and potential applications in biotechnology and medicine. This rising interest in TTC proteins represents a promising frontier in molecular biology and therapeutic development, highlighting the necessity for ongoing research to fully unravel the complexities and applications of these unique proteins.
