Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RAB3A is a member of the RAB family of small GTPases that are critical for intracellular trafficking and exocytosis, particularly in the context of synaptic vesicle release in neurons. It plays a vital role in the regulation of neurotransmitter release by modulating the interaction between synaptic vesicles and the presynaptic membrane. Research on RAB3A has gained prominence due to its implications in various neurobiological processes and potential links to neurological disorders, including schizophrenia and autism spectrum disorders. The study of recombinant RAB3A proteins allows researchers to dissect its functional mechanisms, explore its interactions with effector proteins, and elucidate its role in synaptic plasticity. By generating recombinant forms of RAB3A, scientists can investigate its GTPase activity, membrane localization, and the impact of post-translational modifications on its function. This knowledge is crucial for understanding the underlying molecular pathways of synaptic transmission and may pave the way for targeted therapeutic strategies in treating cognitive and psychiatric diseases associated with dysregulated synaptic functions. Overall, RAB3A serves as an important model for studying the dynamics of vesicular transport and exocytosis, providing insights into the fundamental processes of neuronal communication.
