Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RAB2A is a member of the RAS oncogene family and is primarily involved in regulating intracellular vesicle transport, particularly in the secretory pathway. It plays a crucial role in mediating the movement of proteins from the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) to the Golgi apparatus and is involved in various cellular processes, including exocytosis, endocytosis, and autophagy. Research has indicated that RAB2A is implicated in several cellular functions, such as the maintenance of neuronal health, depending on accurate vesicle transport mechanisms. Furthermore, alterations in RAB2A expression or function have been linked to various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer. The study of recombinant RAB2A proteins offers significant insights into the molecular mechanisms of cellular trafficking and potential therapeutic targets. By using recombinant techniques, researchers can produce RAB2A proteins in significant amounts for biochemical assays, structural analysis, and functional studies, allowing for a deeper understanding of its role in health and disease. This research is vital for elucidating the specific pathways that RAB2A influences and for developing novel strategies to treat conditions arising from its dysregulation. As such, the study of RAB2A and its recombinant forms is an emerging and dynamic field that has the potential to impact both basic research and clinical applications significantly.
